Brooke is in labor!!!!!

LBH will be here in less than 24 hours. :)

He will be born preterm but not premature. Mom and little LBH have steady heartbeats and are doing fine.

Good luck on entry, LBH and I can't wait to meet you!!!!!!

Welcome to the mail shower for Brooke Hoff and LBH!!!!! (LBH is Amy's pet name for Brooke and Aaron's baby. It started out as Little Bun Hoff, and, now that we know the gender, it also refers to Lucky Boy Hoff.)

As we all know, Brooke (librissima) is a huge book fan! Aaron (daddy) is, too. My guess is LBH will be quite a reader. We'd like to get LBH off to a great start on his early library, which should be tooth and gum friendly. What could be better than to shower our faraway friend and her little bun with board books?!?

Here's how it will work:

Brooke has registered for some board books she'd like on Amazon.com. Click here and scroll down to books and media to see it. Feel free to choose your favorite book in board form, too! Order your books sent to Brooke in Seaside, CA. We want to have them all delivered by December 1, 2008. One afternoon in that first week of December (provided she's not in labor!!!) Brooke will open her gifts all at once as if we could all be there to shower her ourselves.

I hope this is one way that all of us can be together with Brooke, Aaron and LBH in spirit of the heart and the mind to wish them well on the journey to creating the bright little creature who will join this world as a Hoff in December!
